Gohad Fort is an ancient fort situated in the district of Madhya Pradesh, which is a unique example of the valor and architectural craft of the Jat rulers. It is built on a strategically important site; this fort was used as the military defense center in the Middle Ages. Inside the fort, there are palaces, halls, living rooms for the soldiers, reservoirs, and temples. The architectural style clearly reflects the Rajput and Mughal styles - arches, domes, latticed windows, and ornate doors being the best examples. Gohad Fort has become an outstanding architectural landmark, combining military functionality and aesthetic beauty.
